Project Introduction

An Airport Master Plan has never been completed for the Alexander Field South Wood County Airport (ISW).

ISW serves an important role for travel and economic activity in the State of Wisconsin. The Airport Commission and Wisconsin Bureau of Aeronautics (BOA) has initiated a new comprehensive Master Plan to develop a framework to guide the maintenance and development of the Alexander Field South Wood County Airport for the next 20 years. The Master Plan will position the airport to meet changing user needs and accommodate potential future growth and economic development.
